Women prefer to do business with people we know and feel we can trust. Our monthly meetings are terrific opportunities to promote ourselves and meet new faces in our community while solidifying friendships with those we’ve met before. Our ‘unofficial’ format is simple and effective… no pressure, no big fees and no long-term commitments.
For those joining us for the first time, our evenings look like this… arrive, order food & drinks (if you choose) then mingle. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. with introductions of yourself and your business. Let us know… who you are, what you do and promote any sales, specials, seminars or opportunities. Feel free to pass around samples or promo materials and if you're looking for something, this is the time to ask for it!
Once we make our way around the room, feel free to stay and chat with your new colleagues and touch base with the women you’ve met before.
It’s pay as you go, only $20 per person for the meeting (plus your food tab) and you’re welcome to attend solo or bring along friends and colleagues. There’s no need to RSVP - just show up!
To keep our events fresh and accessible, we alternate Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in the second week of each month at a variety of locations in the Nanaimo area and are always open to your suggestions for new places to gather!
Within 48 hours of attending, you’ll receive a tax receipt for the meeting along with a Contact List of all the women who were present, so you’re able to keep in touch and expand your network.
Our ‘unofficial’ gatherings are casual, comfortable and an opportunity for some good old-fashioned self-promotion, feasting and networking amongst local women in business.
